Postpartum
Postpartum care IS essential.
We are not meant or designed to move through this transitional time alone. We are meant to be supported. It is harder in these modern times to feel truly held in your postpartum experience. But with intention, you can make your village.

Building trust with my clients is so important to me. When I was a new mother, I had a lot of trouble allowing myself time to rest, to take a walk, to see a friend, to get to a yoga class…I felt I needed to be with my baby 24/7 day and night. As beautiful as this pure devotion was, I also later realized I had postpartum anxiety, combined with intrusive thoughts, that are so common for new mothers.
All that made me believe I was the only one who could truly care for my baby and keep her safe.
I wish for all mothers, the chance to feel seen, in whatever their unique postpartum journey is.
When I come to my client’s home, I get to know them, and their baby: mama, or both parents sometimes, are usually in the home, while I care for baby. Over time, with established trust, parents may be out, or sometimes I take baby on a nap-walk. My focus is always to check in with the mother, hear how sleep has been, how her body feels and what nourishment looks like right now, listen to both her knowings and her questions around baby. I cook and bake for the families I support, I do light house work like cleaning the kitchen, washing bottles, & folding laundry.
I support the heart of the home = mothers.
Because that’s what they are. I support mothers so they can feel at their best, to keep giving and pouring into their baby, and their family.
When mothers are mothered, when mothers are seen, held, supported to thrive, we are all better for it, today and the today’s of tomorrow.
If you are a pregnant or a mom reading this, or maybe you know a new parent, a family with a new baby, please reach out! Don’t wait until you feel drained, desperate to keep your head above water; we shouldn’t need to struggle to feel we deserve support. We deserve it. Simply put.
Motherhood is the pulse of life, what is more worthy?
Heal Your Body, Mind, and Spirit Postpartum
The first 40 days, is a stage of postpartum that are incredibly important to honour on many levels, and one being nutrition. How we nourish our bodies, influences how we heal, how our milk supply is established, how we manage with less sleep, how at peace and calm we feel with the new emotions and hormonal shifts, and much more.
Pre and post birth, we discuss what your goals of care are, what nutritional support you'd like, and I suggest and educate you about the first 40 days, and beyond.
What an impact it can make to have nourishing meals and healthy, easy snacks during one of the most life altering experiences.
You'll never look back and regret having choosing this support.
A mother needs her village.
We are honoured to be a part of yours.
